It ain’t pretty and some design fascist at Apple is probably spewing latte all over his cute Mac Mini at the sight of this DIY iPod accessory, but, I love it. I haven’t a clue how he did it – even after reading it -, but that doesn’t stop me admiring the fiery Geek spirit. If you ride a bike and wear an iPod, then listen up. This guy has built an iPod charger for those on the move. The Bicycle iPod Charger may be ugly as sin but it works. Built from cobbled together lengths of wire, old batteries and unwanted bits of children, uber-Geek Mark Hoekstra has made a useful iPod accessory before Griffin or Belkin. Not impossible, after all. If you have the time and knowledge, then go here for the details and the pics of how to make cycling almost worthwhile.
