It’s a bold claim and means absolutely nothing unless of course you like your notebook to look like a mini piano. There’s no doubt though that the newly announced Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook Q2010 is somewhat desirable, not least because of its piano-black lacquer finish. At just 2cm, it’s a skinny slinky that weighs in at just 1Kg. It has a 12.1in 1280 x 800 pixel screen, 1GB of DDR memory and is powered by Intel’s Core Solo processors – exact chips to be announced. Battery life is an under-whelming 2 hours but it does pack in support for 3G, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi. The company claims that the Q2010 is a “truly aspirational product” and it’s easy to see why. When it ships in May - in limited quantities – it will cost well over £2,000. Via MobileMag.
