LG Unveils VX-8600 Chocolate Clamshell September 14, 2006

Pictures of the LG VX-8600, to be branded as the Chocolate clamshell, were leaked onto the Internets last month, but now we have real, non-blurry shots and some actual facts to report! The cellphone will play nice on Verizon Wireless' EV-DO network; its internal LCD is 220x176 pixels; a microSD slot allows for plenty of space for music (Chocolate phone = music phone, remember); the external buttons are touch-sensitive (read: terrible gimmick that just doesn't work as well as, you know, pushing a button); and you can use Bluetooth to wirelessly stream music to compatible devices, one thing that actually seems interesting if Verizon Wireless doesn't needlessly cripple the feature. There's a few more pics after the jump.
