Wannabe DJs, listen up. Forget vinyl. Old Skool might Rule but the DJs of tomorrow will not be carrying cardboard boxes filled with LPs in the back door of the local hop.
They’ll be packing one of these. The iTrax Mixing Console from Gemini DJ lets you dual-dock two iPods with each iPod channel sporting a 3-band rotary EQ control with gain and cut features, mic input with 2 EQ controls and two phono/line convertible inputs for hooking it up to other music sources like turntables or CD players.
There are lots of other DJ-related features that I don’t understand but for those that like to turn their bedrooms into the Ministry of Sound, you know you want this. The best bit? It costs around £100.– Martin Lynch

Then you can bathe in geek glory, still look like a pro DJ, show some real skills and not have to buy TWO ipods
