Revo Power: Put An Engine In Your Bike September 25, 2006

A bike with an engine? Now we’re talking. Bikes are great, especially in these Destruction Of The Planet days, as they can help raise your Green rep, make you feel all cuddly inside and make you instantly shaggable to hot Swedish environmentalist twins.
OK, maybe not that last bit. The only problem with them is that they require a lot of effort and few people want to arrive at work sweating like a racehorse. That’s why we like the Revo Power – which we covered at launch back in May. The Revo Power is a motorised replacement wheel that runs on two stroke fuel and can get your fat ass up to 20mph on the flat. More importantly, it will take the grunt work out of hills.
You stick it on the front of your bike since it’s only three ins wide and despite it weighing 15lbs, it does all the hard work and you get 200 miles to the gallon. It will set you back around £200 when it launches next year. Even better, you can see it in action.. Watch the video here at Techeblog. -Martin Lynch
