From bouncing balls to urban graffiti, Sony is marking its latest Bravia ad campaign by launching a new commercial next week based on blasting a tower block in Glasgow with 70,000 litres of paint. Check out the teaser above and another here.

No one is suggesting that Glasgow needs a lick of paint but how desperate are things getting when an ad company funds painting a tower block by exploding fireworks filled with paint. It took 10 days shooting with 250 people, paint delivered in one tonne trucks and a full five days and 60 unlucky people at the end to clean it all up.

Still, it does look really good and no Glaswegians were harmed during the filming of this advert. The full thing airs on ITV next week.-Martin Lynch
