refurbdell.jpgNeed a cheap file server, Linux machine, or emailing machine? How about a refurbished 700MHz Celeron for $47.91. It's really bare-bones, with only 128MB of RAM, a 10GB hard drive, Windows 2000 (not installed), onboard Video and Audio, two PCI slots, one AGP slot, and four USB slots. Not bad for $47 though.

Ooh, small formfactor, probably quiet. Looks like it wants to be a firewall to me. :)

they want $31.95 for FedEx ground, thats almost as much as the computer

I would buy two of them if the shipping was half of that (where it realistically should be).

1.4GHZ for $100 would have met my mark.

Sounds like a pretty good MAME machine to me!

if shipping was cheaper you could pick up like 6 of these and build your own small cluster.

Most of the Dell Optiplex Systems and Acer aspire machines goes with a power supply problem. It powers up and shuts down..and it goes and on..until you start scratching your head.

Dell has always been having good casing styles, Optiples GX270 260 & stable except for the powersupply part ( not so frequenly occuring )..nice thing to make it as a firewall or a proxy box !
