Toy stores around the world may be under siege from tired, cold and angry console buyers but they are not the only thing that people want for Christmas – allegedly.
Kids are going wild for the latest Bond gadgets, including the £160,000 Aston Martin DBS. Of course, not the real thing, but for £20 they are getting as close as they ever will with the remote-controlled Nikko 1:16 James Bond 007 Aston Martin DBS which according to Toys R Us is flying off the shelves.
Sales of the car have trebled this week and mini-spies have also been seen snapping up 007 walkie-talkies and other goodies.
When they say ‘kids’ though, please remember that many of those sales were made to 30-40-year old men sporting long-time Bond fantasies, fake Walther PPKs and a thing for chicks dipped in gold.
