rock 20in.jpg I know how many of you have £2,500 of spare change hanging about so here’s what you can spend it on: the Xtreme SL Pro notebook from UK-outfit Rock Computers.

This is a mean beast sporting a massive 20in display (1650 x 1050 pixels) and dual nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics cards linked by SLI technology. That’s 1GB of graphics memory all by itself which makes me hate my PC even more thqan I did 10 minutes ago.

The engine of this notebook is a AMD Turion X2 dual core mobile processor and there’s 1GB of DDR2 Dram alongside dual 100GB 7200rpm SATA hard disk drives.

At 6.9Kg, this baby is built for pleasure only since it’s about as portable as a concrete block.-Martin Lynch

With reference to the above comment: "by the way, its not 7200rpm sata, its only 5400rpm"

According to the offer at the link above - see the small box above the specs listing - the drives are listed as 7200rpm in the £2500 notebook.
