evesham alqemi tv.jpg LCD prices are falling all of the time but just not damn well fast enough for many of us. Tired of waiting, then Evesham might have the answer with its latest Alqemi SX (yeah, ‘alchemy’ spelled badly) HDTVs.

Obviously, I’d caution waiting for the reviews to you smart Giz readers but there are a lot of shoppers that base all tech decisions on the price tag. At £599, you can fully expect the company to shift a boat load of its entry-level 32sx, boasting a resolution of of 1366 x 768, HDMI connectivity, analogue and Freeview digital TV tuners and Dolby Virtual Surround sound. Response time is a respectable 8ms.

There are also new 37in and 42in versions, priced at £899 and £1,399, respectively. – Martin Lynch
