Is This The Ugliest 'Green' Car Ever Made? November 29, 2006

My God! This is the latest green, planet-friendly car concept from Venturi. Either it’s been beaten for a week by the ugly stick or it was deliberately designed to look like a cross between the Model T Ford and an oversized golf cart.
This was recently exhibited alongside the excellent Venturi Fetish, the first production electric sports car, and despite the Spongebob Squarepants design, it can be powered on a wide range of energy sources.
It has a small 22hp (16kW), 50Nm electric motor which is juiced by the 2.5 metres of solar cells on the roof. UK drivers worried about the lack of sunshine can take solace from the turbine on the roof which turns with the wind, generating some extra energy. Plug it in at home for a full recharge. It has a range of 50km and, believe or not, goes into production next year with a price tag of over £16,000.

i doubt the designers have ever heard of ergonomics or aerodynamics
this is what happens when designers/engineers "think" they know what people want without actually asking "real" people's opinion on designs before finalising designs.
perfect for mass public transport to replace taxis/ rickshaws in over crowded/ polluted urban areas . no need to assume every vehicle designed has to be for ur personal ego-trip to the football stadium/ shopping mall.
looks like ET with wheels on
this car is the gayest piece of shit ive ever seen!!!!
I doubt that is safe, looks more like a golf cart than a car, looks like the most unsafe piece of trash i've ever seen.
