Lapstyle calls these "the all new, never seen before" laptop covers, and there's a good reason why they've never been seen before: they are the stupidest accessory ever. The last thing a laptop needs is a cover that makes it retain heat.

If you hate your laptop and it's completely insured, get yourself one of these. Unless you're planning some computing sessions at the North Pole, this is definitely one of the dumbest ways to spend your dosh we've seen in a long, long time. This is a joke, right? – Charlie White

I don't think they are stupid, they are actually pretty kewl! I saw the other day headphones that had fuz on them like that. Plus if you get tired of typing on your lab top you can always close it and use it as a pillow. Its different, creative, and if it really did retain heat why would they make them? I think they would have realized this before producing something like this. So stop trying to knock something unless you know for sure what the hell your talking about, research it, ask the creators before going around shouting that its a fire hasard. (plus if you didn't notics, the fuzz never covers the hot area's, I'm sitting at a lab top right now and I touched the area's where the picture showed fuzz and those parts are not hot)

mhmm... well I think they are pretty cool except for that they don't have much selection... I think they should make some more, because I like the idea, but once everybody has seen them then they are all gonna think they are boring after awhile... :-/
