We've known about Microsoft's Vistagami project since May.

Vistagami is essentially their second attempt at an Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC). The newer Vistagamis are supposed to have slide out keyboards, better battery life, and cheaper price tags. Also, as their name suggests, they'll be running Windows Vista.

Well, word has it MS will be showing off these new UMPCs at next month's CES show. The question is, will anyone care? We've trounced a good number of UMPCs before, so we'll be just as critical on these new Vistagamis. Stay tuned. – Louis Ramirez

Black Ice.jpg Well, well. What do we have here. From the looks of the XPS 710's freshly minted website, it appears Dell has a surprise in store for its massive desktop.

So far all we have to go on is this little tease: "Technology like you've never seen. Black Ice is coming, exclusively from Dell."

Dell has gotten into the habit of overclocking its high-end systems lately, so chances are this Black Ice is a cooling solution that'll allow them to overclock to the max. Sounds reasonable enough. Any other guesses? – Louis Ramirez
