HANNSpree has made a name for itself making novelty and kids TVs but the company has upped the style stakes for 2007 with a range designed to appeal to the more serious TV buyer. After all, not everyone wants a football TV in the house.
The new models include the retro-looking HANNSlounge, the trendy black & white HANNSvibe, the minimalist HANNSnara and the spacey HANNSwing.
The HANNSlounge boasts a walnut wood shell, leather effect front-end and deer-horn shaped chrome stands. It comes in 26in, 32in and 37in models with prices ranging from £679 to £999. All of the new TVs are HD Ready with HDMI inputs and a respectable screen response time 8ms.
The prices are certainly in line with what the main HDTV brands are doing but with the added bonus of owning a very individual looking TV. Still, as with all products, I recommend testing one out before you part with your hard-earned cash.-Martin Lynch
