At any big show, there’s going to be a certain amount of one-upmanship or, for a more appropriate word, sabotage. And at CES 2007, the biggest gadget-fest, there’s no shortage of dirty tricks on the go.
At last night’s Sony conference, there was a suspicious amount of hammering, drilling, crashing and even very loud movie demos that only seemed to kick off as the Sony execs opened their mouths. The fact that Sony’s big stand is surrounded by rivals might help you decide coincidence or foul play?.
And then we have those poor, unprotected Apple iMacs down in the South Hall which someone figured would look better with a littler decoration. No one is accusing a Microsoft employee of anything here but this is low-tech sabotage at its best/worst.
What I can’t figure out is why the culprit only rebadged one of the 8 there? My guess he was caught by some Macolytes and had the crap kicked out of him. After all, you know how psychotic er, passionate, those

Seems to me that that XP "re-styling" is of a quality PC users have grown accustomed to paying for.
I have never seen Mac users feel aggresive towards PC users. They most often appear sympathetic while bemused as to why PC users insist on throwing good money after bad.
The only explanation that makes any sense to me is "Stockholm Syndrome".
Personally, I say live and let live... and if you want you waste your life maintaining Gate's self-imploding OS that all the best to you. ;-)
ever think that only one of the 8 was dualbooted with xp?
