What do you give yourself as a reward when you manage to flog your millionth glowing TV? Why a diamond encrusted one of course.
Philips joined the ‘Bling Anything’ crowd at yesterday’s CES Show here in Vegas by announcing that it has shipped its millionth Ambilight TV set. To celebrate it unveiled a one-off version, the 42in Diamond FlatTV, a HDTV encrusted with 2,250 diamonds accounting for about 225 carats of the shiny little buggers. The bling work was carried out by New York jewellers A.Link.
It will be touring the world this year at various shows but only because I couldn’t fit it in under my jacket. Jump now for some more pics.-Martin Lynch
