The folks at Unwired View have dug up some details on Sony Ericsson's multimedia cradle, a dock meant to complement your Sony Ericsson phone. get all those photos and MP3s from your phone onto something where you can manage them all. Sounds pretty cool, but personally I don't have that much media on my smartphone where I need this. True, it's just a concept/patent, but I think we need phones with greater storage capacity and/or better features before I can use this. What do you guys think—would you use something like this today?

i'd def use something like this seen as my sony ericsson software isn't mac compatible, tis a pain having to wait till the girlfriend comes round with her work laptop so i can dump my stuff off and on it.

Would i use this today? No, but the idea a dockable larger display and keyboard sure does sound appealing. would totally negate the need for a business like easy email smart phone, and a 'going out' phone. I suppose if i could view my photos and videos on a larger screen that would be a plus.

Neil, Which SE phone do you have, all of mine have always worked with mac, though sometimes address book needs a bit of tinkering if its a new model. Though i havent had an SE smartphone since the P900, maybe thats the thing...
