It seems that the US can’t get enough of the wee little console that allows relatives to assault each other and destroy their TVs without arrest. February sales figures from NPD showed that the best-selling consoles were the Nintendo DS and the newer Nintendo Wii, racking up sales of 485,000 and 335,000 units, respectively. I am a little surprised at the DS being so strong but, there you go.
Games for these platforms also cornered three of the top four sales slots but Crackdown for the Xbox 360 was the best-seller for Feb.
Interestingly, third spot in console sales was held by the PS2, which notched up an impressive 295,000 sales. So where the hell is the Xbox 360 or the PS3? Find out after the jump.-Martin Lynch

WHO the HELL keeps buying ps2s ??????
The PS2 is still a decent cheap game console.
The Xbox selling 480 units though, that's hilarious!
The ps2 is still selling so well because teens and adults want to play god of war. Kids want all the kiddie games. And the ps3 is too expensive, with not a lot to choose from with it's content.
Xbox 1 is officially dead, and it's shocking that it even sold any units considering that fact!
As far as "The ps2 is still a decent cheap game console." I'm a graphics fanatic, and in all honesty the ps2 did not have the best looking games. so to me the ps2 was overpriced it's entire life span.
Whats an Xbox 480. I want one ;)
