Getting your home movies to DVD can be a pain if you've got a geriatric PC/laptop with no FireWire ports. That's the crowd Creative is aiming for with their Video Blaster Editor. The external box offers all the A/V ports you need to get video onto your PC and helps your PC render video to MPEG-2. Though it works as promised, the guys at Laptop found that the unit has steep requirements, which your PC/lappie may not meet. Add to that the $199 price tag and you may want to reconsider. – Louis Ramirez
