Looking out the window, summer is certainly coming early this year and the bright laptop accessories are arriving right along side it.
I always thought laptop bags were made from dead cows or, cleverly disguised as rucksacks, to thwart the greedy gazes of nefarious types on the Underground. Seemingly not.
Wrappers has launched its summer range of laptop, and MacBook, sleeves, throwing dead animal bag tradition to the wind with a flowery and bright collection of, well, wrappers made from a wide variety of materials.
The company has ditched bags for catwalk designer sleeves to cuddle your precious notebook. Forget carrying extra batteries, removable hard disk drives and cables though as this is all about fashion, darling.
Designs and patterns culled from big names like Missoni and Paul Smith are combined with high quality materials like Tana Lawn Cotton from Liberty of London. There’s even something retro for you rockettes with the Jean Jeannie [pictured], a heavy duty denim sleeve with candy stripe lining.
Surprisingly, this kind of fashion accessory is not out to break the bank. Prices start at £17 and range up to £30+.-Martin Lynch
