With all that spare capacity, PS3 game makers are looking to boost sales by adding high-def movies to their Blu-ray games discs. Midway has announced plans to release a special edition of Stranglehold, complete with a HD version of John Woo’s classic slow-mo actioner, Hard Boiled.

The new version will – in the US at least – will cost an extra $10 at $70 – but is a good move that could spark other game makers to throw in free-ish movies. The Stanglehold game – also directed by John Woo – allows players to don the persona of Chow Yun Fat’s Inspector Tequila and fill those baddies with lead from those famous double handguns.-Martin Lynch

Why are you comparing Hard boiled to a Steven Segal movie? It's like comparing Star Wars to Flesh Gordon

Yeah Flesh gordon was a classic ...pfff starwars

Ditto – Star Wars is overrated. 2001: A Space Odyssey is where good sci-fi lies. Try and be slightly more inventive with your comparisons, David.
