It’s becoming an regular statistic these days but yes, the Wii, has outsold the PS3 again in Japan. Last month, by a ratio of 6-to-1.
According to market tracker, Enterbrain, Nintendo flogged 270,974 Wii consoles compared to Sony’s 41,628 PS3s. Microsoft placed an understandable third with the Xbox 360 shifting 17,616 units.
For those of you into plotting graphs, this is how the last three months has looked on the Wii Outselling The PS3 Ratio Scale:
April: 4:1
May: 5:1
June 6:1
Taking bets for July now. Of course the Wii is significantly cheaper but, these kind of stats are now globally mirrored. And, as stats go, the only good they might do is speed up Sony’s plans for a PS3 price cut.-Martin Lynch

The Wii is fun though - I've spent hours playing Wii Sports, Res Evil 4 and Metroid Prime on this machine whilst my 360 sits there gathering dust
I'm currently addicted to Zelda. I'd gone off games ever since I beat Unreal Tournament many moons ago but the Wii has rekindled the latent gamer in me and discovered the gamer in my wife too!
Rob is just a PS3 fanboy ;]. I'm having an awesome time playing RE4 and Zelda on the Wii and i'll take shaking and waving the controller around instead of button bashing anyday :P. Although bring on RE5 and MGS4 for the PS3! I maybe a Wii lover, but i do like my Sony PS. I'm just not overly obsessed like some idiots are.
