Anyone that has trouble choosing between Apple’s almost invisible selection of ipod/nano colours should stop reading now. Toshiba has obviously just robbed a B&Q store to stock up on what's needed for the new Gigabeat U103 MP3 player which comes in – wait for it – 24 different colours.

The Japanese are getting these first but hopefully they’ll wing it this way in a few months. The specs are virtually the same as the U102, but Toshiba is hoping these things will take off like wildfire, tempting obsessives to collect all of them like wee, musical Tamagotchis. Available in 1GB and 2GB flavours, the other specs include:

* 1.1" OLED display (96x96 resolution, 65K colors)
* MP3, WMA, and WAV
* FM tuner/Recorder
* Built-in FM transmitter/receiver
* Enhanced DAC
* Battery life: 20 hours
* Colours: All!
* Dimensions: 76.7mm x 36.2mm × 11.4mm

Prices will start at around £55.-Martin Lynch
