The Nike+iPod Sports Kit is a nice little gadget. The only downside is that you're also asked to fork out for special Nike trainers to slot the sensor in.
At least, that’s what the marketing blurb would have you believe. It’s not very handy for those millions of runners that like to jog off their love handles in Adidas, New Balance, Asics, or other, trainers.
Now, a company called Shoe Pouch has come up with a very simple and cheap solution with its little, you guessed it, Shoe Pouch. Priced at around £3.50 - making it possibly one of the cheapest iPod accessories ever – it’s a small waterproof pouch made from neoprene that houses the Nike+iPod sensor and which has been designed to be laced neatly and securely onto the front of your trainer.
