New TomTom GO Devices Arrive August 5, 2007

Last month, I covered the launch of the new TomTom GO devices and now they are here, with final pricing.
The new TomTom GO 720 [pictured] is a the higher end version and comes with full Western European maps installed and costs £329. The GO 520 comes with country-specific maps and costs £299. The new models are lighter, despite sporting a larger 4.3in screen. Other key features include:
- TomTom Map Share technology enabling users to correct maps instantly and to benefit from improvements made by other users
- Industry’s first speech recognition for millions of cities and street names
- Extensive, industry leading range of safety features
- Enhanced hands-free calling with high quality sound system so drivers can make and take calls whilst keeping their eyes on the road
- Built-in FM transmitter to transmit sound over own car stereo
- New smart and fun extras such as recording your own driving instructions, view document and exchange positions via Bluetooth® wireless technology Best Maps
TomTom is also rumoured to be getting ready to announce a model called the GO 920 on August 30, which will have more memory, an upgrade to TomTom’s predictive traffic service and a feature that lists local fuel prices.-Martin Lynch

Looks like they have gone back to 4:3 screen, and away from widescreen. Sensible - you need to see the road ahead, not to the side!
No, it's definitely a 16:9 ratio screen for the 520 and 720 models.
