OK, bendy people, listen up. We can all agree that yoga is great exercise and a good way to meditate, while leaving behind all of our insistent techie toys, if only for a few hours.
That’s of course unless you are designer Hui-Zong Chen who thinks the yoga mat and its practioners need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
The hi-tech mat gets pulled from a metal tube that doubles as an MP3 player and speaker and you can forget rubber because this one is made from electronic paper. Why? Because even if you can’t make it to the class, video of the yoga class can be streamed to the mat, allowing you to take part anyway.
You can even conference in friends for some group Twister. Far out and not likely to appear anytime soon though.-Martin Lynch
