Brushing aside the hail of bullets from Bugsy Siegel’s Tommy gun, a wicked driver swing from Tiger Woods and the formidable thighs of Beyonce, Master Chief marched to victory this week, capturing the flag the Madame Tussauds, Las Vegas.

The 7ft 2in saviour of an invaded Earth has become the first ever video game characters to be immortalised [for a few months anyway] in wax/clay. Weighing in at 275lbns, it took ten artists 892 man-hours and 1000lbs to craft the big man himself.

Halo 3 has already become the fastest selling game of all time before launch with over a million pre-orders.

It goes on sale on September 26 and UK gamers will be able to see have their photos taken with their favourite quiet killer in person soon after, when Master Chief heads to Madame Tussauds in London. Scroll down for a close-up.-Martin Lynch
