I’m not sure what the everyday application of this might be, except maybe p***ing off everyone in the office or local pub – and videoing their frustration for later amusement – but I like spy-toys. Disguised as a pack of cigarettes, just flip the lid and hit the black button to jam all mobile phone signals within 20m. Not subtle looking, but very Q.
According to the sellers, it prevents eavesdropping using cellular telephones in meeting rooms, homes, office etc. It has rechargeable batteries and comes with a charger. This would be perfect for the cinema which is usually populated by morons that take calls and texts during the movie. Not anymore. Ah-hahahahahaha!
Still, it’s a mite expensive at $950 (£466) so why not opt for Brando’s cheaper handheld version at just $166 (£81).-Martin Lynch

i have to get on of these cus i would so video peoples frustration lol wow
Oh, we could so do with a few of those in work. As it's a hospital, there's a current law of no phones, especially in our department, yet, we seeing every member of staff, with their mobile attached to their ear all day.
This would end all supervisors problems, flip the lid, hit the button and watch the tears, lmao.

"...in work. As it's a hospital..."
Because using a device that effectively floods the area with a high density phone signal will entirely nullify the effects of lots of mobile phones... oh - hang on.
these are illegal to own and use in the UK... something about 'jamming emergency service calls' bah
ive been looking on and on for something practical as a gift for my son for the holidays. but, i'll hold off looking anymore for a bit. question: do YOU buy any of these items for urself? or do u get to play with them and they let u keep them.

Because you can't get peace and quiet in a hospital anymore. Not to mention, surgeon's taking personal calls in the middle of theatre!
Annoyed by neighbour's Mobile Phone GSM Jammer/Blocker, which makes you can not call in or call out?
Try to install a mobile phone repeater
A normal mobile phone repeater could makes you get enough signal within 5 meters radius if there is a jammer working around you.
