Just as one forthcoming Star Wars game – The Force Unleashed - gets to brag about the ability to use the Wiimote as a lightsaber, another one comes along even sooner.

This time around its the incredibly cool LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga for the Wii console. First LEGO Star Wars watches earlier today and now a Wii lightsaber for the blocky heroes.

Due to launch in just a couple of weeks, LucasArts and Travellers Tales have confirmed that The Complete Saga will come with some yummy Wiisaber action. If you happen to be in Nottingham for the forthcoming Gamecity event [Oct 24-28], then you'll get to see it in action.

Wow, imagine not having to make the lightsaber sounds with your mouth anymore.-Martin Lynch

Is it a plane? Is it a bomb? No, it’s Sony’s odd little Bluetooth wireless speaker for mobile phones.

After dishing up a new raft of Sony Ericcson phones this week, the company also rolled out this dinky little thing called the MBS-100 Bluetooth speaker so that you can inflict your musical tastes on everyone else in the room, wirelessly. Battery life is 5 hours in use and 50 hours stand-by.

This audio sphere is hardly small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket – at least not without drawing some curious glances at your crotch – but it’s certainly a little different from the regular mobile phone speakers. You won’t be bringing down the house with its 1.5W output, but you might just get something going on in a bedsit, or closet.

It weighs in at 225g, will work with any A2DP Bluetooth phone and is due out in the coming months for around – although not guaranteed - £50. Jump now for an extreme close up. -Martin Lynch

You know your inner Jedi will want one of these for Christmas. Meet the new LEGO Star Wars Watches, probably made for kids under 10 but you can be damn sure that you’ll see these babies on every 30-40 year old movie nut come New Year.

They certainly look like toys but they do have oodles of charm to them. Just look at the strap links made from LEGO – I’m sorry, my inner geek is fully appreciative. These are a perfect Stars Wars dose for when real-life calls and you have to stop playing Star Wars LEGO on your console.

There are four to choose from: Darth Vader, R2-D2, Clone Trooper and Luke Skywalker. The watch case and links are plastic and the timepiece boasts quartz movement, protected by mineral crystal glass and -probably, although not advertised - The Force. Each one comes with a little LEGO figure and extra links for fat [a.k.a. adult] wrists.

Water resistant to 50m, these babies will set you back a whole £10 here. Jump now to see the Darth Vader and R2-D2 watches.-Martin Lynch

beyonce phone.jpg Unlike the RED series of Apple products that have some useful point to them, Samsung has launched a special edition Beyonce mobile phone in the US-only right now, that has no point at all.

The B’Phone is a limited run, tricked out version of the Samsung SGH-F300 music phone. It sports a two-tone red shell with a gold trimmed pad. Oh, and don’t forget her name at the top and the wallpaper that greets you when you crank it up. It’s a funny old phone since one side sports the MP3 player and display and the other side the business bit with buttons etc. Other features include a 1.3MP camera, 2.1in screen, decent MP3 player and microSD card slot. You also get a rare track of a younger Beyonce belting out the warbles.

“When I was 10, I recorded a song called '632-5792' - a phone number. It's a little embarrassing but it's cute. There's a recording of that song on the phone exclusively for my fans. I wanted to make sure people got a feel for who I really am. It's only through this phone that you can get this close to my life.”

Oh please..
