Let’s start the Halloween festivities a little early this year with this, frankly, disturbing electric chair, complete with victim.

The Jolt Electric Chair does exactly what it says on the tin. Just flip that switch and its resident will jolt upright and snap around in imitation of few thousand volts or pretty much any drunk sap on a dance floor at the weekend. So violent is the reaction, however, that the makers recommend that the chair be chained down or bolted into place before you get trigger happy.
It’s very realistic looking and you can be sure that if you secretly place this somewhere in the house as, er, a ‘surprise’, there really is a chance that someone will die.
It costs around £1,200 here. Not for the faint-hearted.-Martin Lynch

The Real Hot Seat!
Love it. Got one for My Party.
Reminds me of David Kagan's Sunstroke novel. That was real heat from the sky. Toasted all those poor people.
