I’m not sure if you need higher brain functions here but if you think telling the time is just too damn easy these days, this could be the watch for you.

The Guru Watch sports a vertical 82 LED digital display laid out in four blocks in amber or red. Looking at the time becomes a whole light show, with flashing LEDs doing a ‘hypnotic’ dance before revealing the time. It’s not as if you are in a hurry now, is it? Here’s the full specs for the Guru Watch:

* Funky leather watches with custom developed LED displays.
* Choose from a silver coloured frame and red LEDs or a black frame with amber LEDs.
* LEDs split into 4 cubes on the watch face.
* Press the control button once to reveal the time - the LEDs form the number.
* Press the control button twice and the month in digits and date is displayed.
* Press the control button thrice to select an alarm time.
* 2 LEDs at the side to indicate 'pm' and whether the alarm is set.
* The watches are water resistant.
* Genuine leather straps.
* Stainless steel facia case.
* Gift Boxed.
* Suitable for ages 12 years+.
* Size: 6 x 3cm (watch face).

The watch certainly beats my humble £7 Timex in the looks department, but that’s about all. It’s also a ringer for the stupidly named Ibiza Ride Watch.

Still, if you’re after a 1970s-TV inspired watch of the future, just be prepared to bend your plastic friend to the tune of £100.-Martin Lynch

I'm going to ask the question that everyone is thinking..

Does it play Tetris?

Plus I think Nike have had a watch like this for a while.
