How much do you love your plonk? Or showing off to guests? Meet the corkscrew that lifts money from your wallet as easy as it does corks from wine bottles.
This unusual looking contraption is a Sveid corkscrew built from aviation titanium with an 18K gold fingertip lever. Comprised of 52 separate parts, including a lead cap cutter, this is a damn fine piece of engineering. At almost £35,000, it would want to be.
Well, in its defence, you do get a really, really nice engraved presentation and storage box, built from the wood of your choice with gold hinges. You won’t find this in John Lewis so place your custom order here.-Martin Lynch

One thing that immediately springs to mind is that the screw is solid rather than a hollow helix type. It is well known that these types of screw tend to break the cork and either pull it apart rather than extract it or you end up with bits of cork in your wine.
Not good for the price.
a hollow helix? sounds like that'll leave the corkscrew in the cork when it snaps...
For £36,000 I'd pay a couple of people on minimum wage to open bottles 24/7
