You’re no one these days in the earphone business unless you’re churning out some sound-isolating, in-ear products.
At least it seems that way. Denon is updating its current in-ear offerings, the AH-C350 and AH-C700, with two new ones, the AH-C351 and AH-C551. Priced at £40 and £70, they are not the most expensive in-ear earphones you can find but they are probably quite good knowing Denon’s decent audio pedigree.
Both pairs feature an ‘acoustic optimiser’ that adjusts sound pressure balance around the diaphragm and gold-plated stereo jacks. Weight is reduced by the use of an aluminium body and they both come with a ‘tangle-resistant’ elastomer cable.
As is par for the course these days, each pair comes with three-different sized earplugs to suit all sized lugs.-Martin Lynch
