It's a shame that they won't be here for the Christmas, when we could all do with a break from Only Fools & Horses re-runs, but early next year will see the welcome arrival of wireless guitar controllers for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on all platforms.

The news has been knocking around since early summer so this is really just a tweaked confirmation with a timeframe.
Activision has confirmed that all of you furious fret freaks with fingers of fire will be able to shred wirelessly soon enough with wireless controllers including, the exclusive Gibson Guitar's Les Paul model, for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
Even better, PS2 rockers will get to twiddle on an "exclusive shape", Gibson’s Kramer guitar. According to Activision , the Kramer was “popularised by hard rockers and known for its body design, pickups, electronics and construction for furious finger fretting.”
No prices and the date remains annoyingly vague at ‘early 2008’.

It's out now, I got my son the PS2 version a couple of weeks ago for Xmas. We had it on pre-order, I think it was released around the 19th November.
