belkin dongle.jpg Belkin and Kodak have teamed up to produce a special photo-oriented Bluetooth dongle designed to get your digital shots from camera to the PC and even, directly on to the Web, without any fuss.

The Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter looks like any other Bluetooth dongle in that it’s plain and small but this one sports some in-built Kodak software that allows the dongle not just to transfer pics in full resolution onto your PC or laptop but directly upload them to MySpace, Facebook and Kodak’s own Gallery site – as long as you are a premium user of the latter, that is.

Chris McGugan, Vice President of Product Management for Belkin International, says: “Currently, people taking pictures with their camera phones have to pay to send those images, and they are also compressed, making it inconvenient for them to print and share at full resolution. With our new Bluetooth USB Adapter with KODAK Picture Upload Technology Software, you can now wirelessly transfer full-resolution photos from your camera phone directly to your PC whenever you walk nearby.”

Selling in the US first for around £25.-Martin Lynch
