We’re all used to predicting what nonsense pop song will be No. 1 for Turkey Day but people are now trying to guess what the No. 1 videogame will be. And, what’s more, they are putting their money where their mouths are too.

According to bookmaker Paddy Power, people in the UK have staked around £11,000 so far, trying to figure out which thumb-twiddling game will top the Xmas charts. Paddy Power started taking No. 1 bets on games back in 2003, when it recorded a measly 60 bets worth £180. This year, the bet count stands at 650.
