Apple fans will be happy to know that the rumours of a new slinky MacBook coming in January are all true. If you trust the music industry for your IT reports.

The so-called ‘confirmation’ has not been unearthed by some geek with the usual dissatisfied Apple ‘Deep Throat’ but by an even less likely blabbermouth: a rapper called Just Blaze.
A recent Apple-sponsored knees up for the employees featured rappers and other musical artists performing and, according to reports, they were offered a new, forthcoming MacBook as a reward - one they were told would be unveiled at Macworld in less than three weeks time.
Even better, the new Macbook – expected to be a really thin, 12in Mac sub-notebook with flash storage – will go on sale a week after Macworld San Francisco. It will be priced, in the US, at around $1,500 (£750).-Martin Lynch

Just Blaze isn't a rapper. (actually he kinda is, but you didn't know that)
Rumour has it, Apple intends to update most of its computing range next year, what with the new Leopard OS now available, but what gets me is PC World (UK) still seems to be flogging their new iMac range with Tiger installed?!!
Its' PC World.... what did you expect?
Any chance this will be a tablet too? My TC1100 needs replacing.
State your sources or at least admit that you're plagiarising content
So then there is no real news about a Macbook 13" replacement so far?
I'm getting a Macbook in January, around the 21st, and I'm hoping there's time to buy the old models between the unveiling and the release date of the new models, so I can see if it'll suit me or not. I didn't really want the Macbook to get any smaller, though, so the 12" thing is almost a dealbreaker. But, the news of it being released a week later has me in high hopes.
Any chance of discounted 13.3" Macbooks?!
Looks very interesting. It will be nice to see if they started producing the 12" models again.
