The humble radio has seen a lot of changes in recent years and that transformation continues with the arrival of the Revo Blik WiFI Radio.
For under £100, you get a well made WiFi radio with access to over 8,000 radio stations, an FM tuner, iPod/MP3 player connectivity and the ability to stream music from your PC or laptop.
Stations can be searched by genre or country and if 8,000+ aren’t enough to keep you happy, you need help. Being Wi-Fi-enabled means you don’t even have to have it attached to your PC, just within range of your wireless router.
There’s a large LCD, plenty of presets, an Alarm and Snooze function and a remote control so that you don’t have to make too much of an effort. You can buy it here in black or white but, if you want some more information, check out a decent review of it here.-Martin Lynch

You might think you have a big aquarium but this monster from Yamaha is so big it needs its own wheels.
Yamaha Australia has built two of these SupaTanks, each 15m long, which are designed to be wheeled around with up to 20 live fish inside to various shows Down Under.
The 13,600ltr tanks are meant to combine education and the beauty of fish in their natural environment but, in typical Aussie style, they are used to demonstrate how to catch fish and how they react to lures and that old fish favourite, a fish hook in the face.
“The Yamaha SupaTank show is designed to both educate families on how to safely and successfully learn to fish along with displaying the fascinating underwater feeding behaviours of fish. In full view of wide-eyed spectators, the fish can be seen stalking and attacking the lures cast by participants from the elevated ‘half-tinny’ casting platform complete with Yamaha four stroke outboard motor.”
Don’t be surprised if someone tries to flog you a Yamaha outboard motor too.-Martin Lynch
