intempo bluetooth adapter.jpg Audio specialist, Intempo, has released a little widget that will allow you to stream tunes wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or laptop to your iPod speaker dock.

The Intempo Bluetooth Adapter (BTA), which measures 60mm x 50mm x 10mm and weighs in at 80g, plugs into your iPod dock and voila, you have the ability to stream tunes from any other Bluetooth-enabled device. Anyone with a laptop chock full of tunes not already crammed onto their iPod could find a use for this, as could those of you with newer multimedia phones with a few gigabytes of songs onboard.

Intempo says the device can locate a Bluetooth source in less than 10 seconds and has a range of 10 metres.

“Mobile phone technology is advancing rapidly and many models now have Bluetooth and impressive MP3 functionality. We wanted to let customers exploit this capability of using their mobile as a wireless music player," commented Katie Richards, Marketing Manager at Intempo.

Are you sure you mean 600mm x 500mm? Two feet square seems a bit large for your average iPod dock!
