Philips is pushing another version of its interactive light technology with a massive interactive wall that allows people to paint with light.

The 'Imagination Light Canvas' measures 14 x 6-feet and contains 1,420 LED lights activated by touchscreen technology. By using your hands you can animate any area and ‘paint with light’, albeit in blocky shapes. Still, it is interesting and continues Philips’ innovation with the use of ambient light to create new visual experiences – akin to those in its very desirable AmbiLight and new Aurea TVs.

We all know the Mac Vs. PC ads. Some are OK, some amusing as hell while others merely make you want to arm yourself and march on Apple’s ad agency.

Now you can see the latest spoof Mac Vs. PC ad from Gabe Schwarzer, the bloke that brought us the first, funny South Park-themed Mac Vs. PC ad. This time Linux makes an appearance to the amusement of all. It could have done with a dose of Cartman though, maybe making an appearance as a Cheesy Poof-bloated Windows Vista.

I do like the way he admits at the end that the ad was created using both a Mac and a PC because “one just isn’t enough”. Have a chuckle.

sony pvr f1.jpgWhat do you get when you marry headphones with speaker technology? According to Sony, it’s these mad-looking headphones it likes to call “personal field speakers.”

These cans, which unfortunately look like some scary torture device from a sci-fi movie, are the new PFR-V1 personal field speakers, designed to make it feel like the music you're listening to on your MP3 player, is coming from in front of you.
