sansa fuze.jpg Either Amazon is out to really annoy its vendors or it’s just the season for leaks. This is the Sansa Fuze from SanDisk, which doesn’t actually exist yet but now that Amazon has ‘mistakenly’ posted it up on its site, it does.

Yesterday Amazon UK posted the new Xbox 360 price cuts a tad earlier than Microsoft was ready for.

The Fuze listing – since pulled and then reinstated – says the iPod nano challenger is due in the next 30-90 days. It sports a 1.9in display, FM tuner, built-in microphone for voice recording, a battery with claimed life of 24 hours (audio)/5 hours (video) and a micro SD/micro SDHC expansion slot.

The Fuze measures 2.2 x 1.5 x 0.6in and weighs 1lb. It supports support MP3, WMA, and MPEG-4 files.

The little tyke comes in red, black or pink with 4GB of internal storage and is expected to cost $100 [around £50] in the US when it ships in the coming months.-Martin Lynch
