We all know the new 3G iPhone is on the way but according to popular technology pundit, Walt Mossberg, from the Wall St. Journal, it will be here within 60 days.

Speaking on a Beet.tv panel, Mossberg casually, but confidently, threw out the statement that the much anticipated 3G iPhone will be here soon enough.

“We all know that when the iPhone came out, it became crystal-clear that you were going to be able to carry in your pocket something that would give you a very good video experience. But again, broadband on these mobile phone networks is limited and I'm not talking about the fact that iPhone isn't 3G, it will be 3G in 60 days.”

With T-Mobile slashing iPhone costs in Germany last week, it’s obvious that stocks are being cleared to make room for the new and improved iPhone.

Walt might not be Steve Jobs when it comes to confirming Apple rumours but he has so many good contacts that if he says it’s here in 60 days, then there’s a damn good chance that it will be.-Martin Lynch
