If spicing up your mouse, spices up your life then Microsoft is hoping that its latest mice revamp will keep you tickled pink, or green, or...you get the idea.
The company has just taken the spray can to its best-selling Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 so you'll soon be able to get the mouse in:
Pomegranate (red)
Dragon fruit (dark pink)
Aloe (green)
Milk chocolate (brown)
Creme brulee (khaki)

There’s too many iPod docks already out there and it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference, or even dredge up the interest, to cover another one.
The iCoral iPod dock though differentiates itself, not so much by the two-tone wavy paint job, but by the fact that the German maker, Copulare, wants you to shell out £1,200 for it. Why, you might ask? And rightly so. Apart from the trippy 1960s swirls and the addition of an S-Video and USB port alongside the typical stereo ports, there’s nothing to distinguish this from any other fashionable dock. Oh, it does have cone feet to 'reduce resonance'.

The much anticipated Rock Band game is going to launch first on the Xbox 360 on May 23, with other consoles to follow in the summer. That’s the good news. The bad, and downright shameful, news is that it is being priced at £180.
That’s right, £180. Everyone was expecting it to cost more than the US version but no one was expecting to lose their shorts in the transaction too. Even considering the hardware components of the game – guitar, drum, microphone etc. – it is vastly more expensive than the US version and almost as expensive as buying an Xbox 360 console.
In the US, Rock Band is listed on Amazon for $148 - £75. The game is the next step up from Guitar Hero and it won the best game award at last year's E3 show.

I’m pretty sure that, while stumbling along the banks of the Thames in central London, I’ve never had the urge to go fishing. After all, what exactly do you need with decomposing bodies or three-headed fish?
Still, if you’re a keen angler that would like to be ready at all times to re-catch the ‘one that got away’, then the Pen Fishing Rod is for you. Around the same size as a thick marker pen and measuring 8in long, this little aluminium rod telescopes out to 4-feet.

The latest console rumour to wind its way onto the Net is that Microsoft is developing a motion controller for the Xbox 360, along the lines of the Wiimote used with the Nintendo Wii.
The source is MTV News which, after speaking with its ‘source’, has said that Microsoft has been working on its own version of the Wiimote since last summer. Despite there being no official confirmation, it makes some form of sense since even the PS3 remote has motion sensing features for use with certain games – like Heavenly Sword.
This is the rather basic illustration [left] of the device that the source – who has allegedly been briefed on the project – provided. Hmm, I feel Nintendo lawyers stirring.
The source claims ….
