ps3 laptop.jpg You may not have heard of Benjamin J. Heckendorn but you may have come across his brilliant console mods, like the great Xbox 360 laptop. Now, he’s done it again, but this time with the PS3.

You might say why bother creating a PS3 laptop but then that would take all the fun out of it. In this case, 14 months of ‘fun’ were spent creating this one-off and, like its predecessor, it’s pretty damn cool.

It’s a backwards-compatible 60GB model inside, sporting a 17in HD display capable of 720p playback, the same HDMI-DVI connection from the Xbox 360 laptop, built-in keyboard, USB ports, stereo speakers and headphone jack.

It measures 17 x 13.75 x 3ins and you can forget running to catch the bus with it since it weighs in at a bicep-busting 16lbs. See a video of it in action below.-Martin Lynch
