Microsoft will be happy to learn today that it is considered to be a more innovative company than either of its key console rivals, Sony and Nintendo.

At least according to the readers of BusinessWeek, which placed Microsoft in 5th spot, ahead of Nintendo in 7th and Sony in 9th. Microsoft’s ranking was based on its search engine and touch-screen research – not the Xbox 360, nor the bloated Windows Vista.

I’ve lost a lot of things in my time but never a corpse. Visitors to the newest graveyard in New South Wales, Australia, though will be issued with GPS devices to help them locate their loved ones.

I realise some of you may feel cheated after reading that headline and then being presented with a photo of a screwdriver with lights but tough - this is a family(ish) type of site. Although I’m pretty sure there are crotch lights out there too for those other night time, er, encounters.

This is the Clever Collar, designed to bring light to those awkward dark jobs in hard to get places. Just slip the collar over the screwdriver – steady – and watch as three bright LEDs show you just where the screw head is.

kratos.jpg Since there’s no chance of getting hold of the marvellous God Of War PSP, you can console yourself with your very own Kratos action figure.

The detailing on this Kratos in Golden Fleece Armour is great and considering you’ve steered him through an ocean of blood, flying limbs and dead Greek gods, owning a 20cm tall version of the ultimate killer in a mini-skirt seems only fitting.
