Radiohead might have shaken up the traditional method of selling records when it allowed fans to pay what they liked to download the In Rainbows album but, the freebies stop here.
Lead singer, Thom Yorke, has called the move a ‘one-off’ that will not be repeated. Chatting to The Hollywood Reporter, he said:
"I think it was a one-off response to a particular situation. It was one of those things where we were in the position of everyone asking us what we were going to do. I don't think it would have the same significance now anyway, if we chose to give something away again. It was a moment in time."
Radiohead allowed fans the chance to pay whatever they liked on its Web site for the In Rainbows album last year but many took advantage of it to pay little, or nothing, at all. Even so, the record label free band is estimated to have netted a few million quid for its Honesty Box approach.-Martin Lynch

Honestly, I would have paid something for the album if the web-page had looked trustworthy. I'm not typing in my credit card number on a page that provides next to no information..
