There’s nothing worse than your gadgets running out of juice when you working out of the office. Not the boring work-related ones like phones and PDAs, but the really important ones like the PSP, DS or MP3 player.

UK outfit, Devotec Industries has launched a tidy little solar charger designed to breathe life back into your empty tech when you really need it.

The Solar Charger measures just 95 x 43 x 10mm, weighs 80g and houses an 1800mAh battery. According to the company you can charge your phone twice over before you need to recharge it.

Recharging via sunlight will take up to 12 hours though – assuming cloud cover is less than dense - but just four hours if you plug it into the mains or charge it via USB.

It comes with a host of adapters and lots of tips on how to use it with different devices. The best bit though, is that it only costs £20. Let’s hope it has better feedback from the wild than the Freeloader 8.0.-Martin Lynch
