Ever since HD DVD lost the HD format war, the rumour mill has been working overtime on just when Microsoft will stick a drive inside the next Xbox 360.

The official word is ‘No’ but now more Asian sources are cropping up, claiming that a spin-off from Asus called Pegatron Technology has been commissioned to build a 360 with a Blu-ray drive inside. Of course, this is not the first such claim, since Lite-On were also rumoured to be the Chosen One for turning the Xbox 360 Blu.
