Manufacturers seems to have caught on to the fact that while there’s nothing wrong with cramming elaborate technology into a wrist watch per se, we just don’t like walking around feeling like there’s a 2kg lead weight strapped to the arm.
The EP2502 watch mobile phone certainly looks pretty classy, and not quite as chunky as the world’s first watch phone.

Creative’s original Muvo player was one of the smallest MP3 players around at the time and did quite well for itself amongst a swathe of chunky rivals.
The redesigned Muvo T100 slipped in pretty much unnoticed last year and was subsequently bettered by the Zen Stone, but this hasn’t stopped it from releasing a sequel.

Nanobots are the subject of many a science fiction novel and are seen by most as a genuine possibility in the not so distant future.
These new military test spy-bots may not be quite that small, but are still dinky enough to mimic a harmless fly, among other bugs, and provide invaluable information to US Marines in the field.

Nintendo has just launched one of its more innovative Wii services in the US and has confirmed that WiiWare will be coming to the UK next week.
WiiWare is an online service - like Xbox LIVE Arcade - that will allow Wii owners to buy and download Wii games or applications that have been developed by third-party developers, both large and small. The service will launch with a raft of titles from major developers and smaller, indie outfits.

Improving your photo skills with a digital SLR camera is a lot more affordable these days and the latest addition to the E-500 series of acclaimed DSLR cameras from Olympus manages to cram in a lot of high-end SLR technology while keeping the price down.
The new E-520 can be seen as an upgrade to the great E-510 but it also boasts a lot of the technology you’d find in the professional Olympus E-3. And all without charging the consumer for the privilege, which is nice.
The new camera boasts the same body as the E-510 but with some tweaks, like a larger LCD and the same long-life battery from the E-3, which is good for around 650 shots. It’s a 10MP camera that boasts image stabilisation, regardless of the lens attached, and improved Live View functionality for composing photos on the LCD. For those spur-of-the-moment opportunities, there's the ability to shoot photos at 3.5fps, with up to 8 images in RAW buffer so you don’t miss your kid scoring that winning goal or drunk granddad sliding off his chair.
