The problem with most modern camcorders is that they’re just too damned big to be carried around comfortably all day. What you really need is a very small portable video camera that’s as easy to carry around as a mobile phone but offers better video capture.
Creative has just launched its Vado Pocket Video Cam, targeting the YouTube generation. Weighing less than 90g (3oz), it takes 640 x 480 resolution video and saves it onto 2GB of internal Flash memory. It’s somewhat like The Flip portable vidcam, currently only shipping in the US.
Vado comes with a 2in LCD to see what you’re shooting and is bundled with the software you’ll need to upload your vids quickly to YouTube or Photobucket.

Errr... right.
It's the video camera off a mobile 'phone.
It has the form factor of a mobile 'phone.
And you can't use it as a 'phone.
Yep - I must add this to the 'phone and USB stick that I already carry around.
